A few seeds of advice
Getting the best from your puzzle bowl
The practical details, without the mystery.
Do I need an account or payment?
No. The published puzzles can be played without registration or payment. There are no purchases required to reveal the explanations.
When does the daily challenge change?
The question is selected by the UTC date and changes at midnight UTC. Reload the page to load the new date. Your local midnight may be at a different time.
Are there prizes or a public leaderboard?
No. Daily play is a personal challenge. There are no prizes, entry fees, public rankings or verified competitions. The stat strip describes only this browser's attempts and result.
Can I play using a keyboard?
Yes. Use Tab to reach controls and Enter or Space to activate buttons. Number fields accept typed input. Escape closes the mobile navigation. Focus outlines identify the current control.
Do I have to distinguish colours?
No. Essential game information is also shown with fruit names, shapes or numbers. Decorative images are not needed to solve the games.
Where are my results saved?
Daily attempts and solved status are stored in this browser using localStorage when available. Memory and matching rounds are not saved. Private browsing, clearing site data or switching devices can remove or separate results. Use the Cookies page to remove daily results.
Can I play without JavaScript?
Guides and riddle explanations remain readable. Interactive games need JavaScript, and the guides include offline alternatives. The contact draft tool also needs JavaScript; you can email us directly instead.
Are these games cognitive tests?
No. They are casual entertainment, not diagnostic tools or evidence of general cognitive improvement. There is no time limit and no health advice attached to a score.
How do I report a confusing puzzle?
Use the contact page to prepare a message. Include the page, the UTC date for a daily puzzle, your answer and why you think it fits. Do not include passwords or sensitive personal information.
